pox and the never ending mess!!

Monday morning as I was getting Myla dressed I noticed that she had 5 red spots on her back and 2 on her chest so as the day went on I kept checking and slowly a few more appeared thats when I thought "Great shes got chicken pox!" and after taking her temp which was 99 it confirmed she had the dreaded pox even after receiving the vaccination for them. Luckily it has turned out to be a very light case but now I just have to wait another week to see if payton will be coming down with them as well. So this week we have been hanging out watching movies, riding bikes and doing lots of stuff around the house since we cant go out in the world until the pox are completely gone. But tonight Im going to take the care and run......ok so Im not running away I will be going to the store to get some much needed groceries. But on the bright side of being confined to the house while these pox run there course I have been able to get tons of sewing done!! I absolutly love my serger and it has made me want to sew non stop. I will post pictures later after I find the camera charger...yeah not sure where that went.

Do you ever feel like cleaning the house is Impossible? Because that it what its been like for me lately. When michael comes home he can always tell what room Ive been trying to keep clean and what rooms the girls have been playing in I feel like our house will never stay/be clean and Im losing my mind!! Last week Michael had spring break well he still worked from home so it wasnt quiet a break for him. Does anyone else's husband not want you to do house work while they are home? Michael never wants me to work when I could come hang out with him and watch movies or play video game ect. But then he wonders why is the house such a disaster haha! News flash if mama aint working then yes there wont be clean dishes, fresh meals or a clean house. haha I must say one thing I have come to relise is that I should have helped my mom more with the house work growing up because it is never ending. I wonder if I will ever be able to have a clean house? I have Myla and Payton help me daily clean up the house each morning but then as the day goes on the mess magically reappears, they are great little mess makers.

So sorry about your neverending struggles with illness!

I completely understand about your housework woes. Hubbies just want to play and then they wonder why we're stressed out crazies livin' in a pig pen!
